At Torke Family Coffee Roasters, we love giving back to our community as much as we love a fresh cup of joe. We are excited to announce Safe Harbor as the newest recipient of our Every Cup Gives initiative. Safe Harbor offers education, services, and support to those affected by sexual assault and domestic abuse. Their vision is to foster a safe and nurturing community free of interpersonal violence.  

To do this, Safe Harbor provides holistic support to meet the needs of survivors. For everything from crisis intervention to resource referrals, they offer a 24-hour helpline. They also provide victim accompaniment and case management to ensure that every person’s rights are respected, and their basic needs are met. In addition to legal help, they help survivors find support with housing, childcare, and life skill development.

Through their work, they are creating a compassionate community from the ground up. The empathy and intention behind their work truly inspire us here at Torke. In the first half of 2023, a portion of every purchase from the Torke Classic Collection goes directly to Safe Harbor, so you can do your part by starting your day how you always do—with a hot cup of coffee! To support them even more, consider volunteering or donating supplies to their emergency shelter.

Our roots in Sheboygan have tied us to the local community for generations. And the support from our loyal patrons has meant the world to us.
